Things To Do In The East Bay This Labor Day Weekend

If you're not leaving town this Labor Day weekend, there are still plenty of fun things to do in our local community. Below is a look at some of the great events going on around the East Bay this weekend.

Friday, August 31

Free 'Concert In The Park' Summer 2018: Pleasanton- This free event will be held at Lions Wayside Park at First and Neal streets, in Pleasanton, CA from 7:00pm-8:30pm. This Friday's concert will feature "Public Eye", a high energy rock and roll band. 

See Role Players Ensemble's "All My Sons"- Role Players Ensemble presents All My Sons, the Tony Award winning drama by Arthur Miller. This event will be held August 31-September 16, 2018 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm; Sundays at 2 pm. Scottish Highland Gathering & Games 2018- The 153rd Scottish Highland Gathering & Games will be held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton this Saturday and Sunday from 8am-6pm. For more information on this event and to purchase your tickets, click here.

19th Annual Rail Fair: Unlimited Train Rides & Farmyard Activities: Fremont- The 19th Annual Rail Fair will take place at Fremont's Ardenwood Historic Farm this Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, from 10am-4pm. Sunset By The Lake Summer Concerts 2018: Pleasant Hill- This event will take place on the Lawn at City Hall, 100 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill, CA. The concert will feature popular bands from around the Bay Area in a relaxed, family friendly environment. This event will take place from 6pm-8pm. 37th Annual Harvest Wine Celebration 2018: Livermore- Livermore Valley wineries are celebrating the crush season at this year's 37th Annual Harvest Wine Celebration. Each winery hosts tasting, arts and crafts, and entertainment. This event will take place from 12-5pm. Monday, September 3

'Relics on Railroad' Antiques, Appraisals & Art Faire: Danville- This event will take place in Historic Downtown Danville from 11am-4pm. If you love antiques, this is an event you won't want to miss. There will be live music, entertainment, and fun for the kids throughout the streets of downtown. You can even bring your own heirlooms to be appraised at the Museum of the San Ramon Valley's antique appraisal clinic. For more information on this event, click here.

Coyote Hills Regional Park Labor Day Fun- Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont offers a Labor Day Fun Program from 10am-12pm and 1:30pm-3:30pm outside the Visitor Center. Pack a picnic and enjoy old fashioned games including a sack race, tug-of-war, and egg relays. This Labor Day event is free.
